Original blue cloth binding with decorative gilt lettering and ornament to the front board and spine.
256 pages.
Approx. 190 × 123 × 32 mm.
Weight approx. 382g.
Condition: Original cloth rubbed and worn, particularly at the corners, edges and spine ends, with some fraying. Page edges browned with age. Endpapers browned/stained and with previous writing to the front. There are a number of marginal chips, tears and areas of paper loss to some leaves, including a longer marginal tear to the opening of “Beware!”. From inspection, these defects do not appear to involve significant loss of printed text. Some further age-toning, creasing and general handling wear. A few leaves uncut along top-edge (as shown in photographs).
Please examine photographs carefully as these form part of the condition description.
An uncommon early Drummond edition of Ryle’s popular evangelical writings.
