Trio of Sasaki Colorstone matte black coupe soup or cereal bowls highlighting 1980’s post-modern minimalism. Designed by the team of Massimo Vignelli, Lella Vignelli, and David Law, these stoneware pieces feature a deep matte charcoal-black interior and exterior that contrasts with a distinct wiped light clay rim.

Produced in Japan, the Colorstone line is characterized by its clean architectural lines and low-profile silhouette.

This set includes three individual bowls. The matte black surfaces on all three pieces are in clean vintage condition.
NOTE: One bowl features a completely intact rim line.
One bowl has shallow flea-bite nicks along its upper white edge that are visible upon inspection (Shown in Photo composite #11 and then those same photos in larger format to see close up - Photo #’s 12-15). The third bowl shows one single, semicircular chip that exposes the lighter stoneware base material beneath the glaze line (Shown close up in Photo #9).
