Tasting notes
Nose: Tropical fruit, dried pineapple and mango, ripe melons and honey, with earthy old-school Springbank character and sandalwood.
Palate: Caramelised lemon meringue, custard cream, mango and pineapple, followed by toffee popcorn.
Finish: Earthy notes, coconut, fresh basil and gorse bush.
The remaining five expressions are:
- Hazelburn 7 Years – Oloroso Cask Matured
- Springbank 18 Years
- Longrow 100 Proof – Batch No. 2
- Kilkerran 8 Years – Cask Strength, Bourbon Cask Matured
- Kilkerran Heavily Peated – Batch No. 14
Together, the six miniature expressions represent a particularly interesting selection of rare and limited releases associated with the premium Springbank and Kilkerran portfolio, and are of considerable interest to collectors of Campbeltown whisky.
