There is dirt and dust around the BNC connectors, on the terminal cover and inside the empty battery compartment. The LCD surface shows many fine marks that may be light scratches or dust. No keys are missing, all 16 screw terminals are present, and the 8 BNC connectors show no bends or chips.
Operation Check
- Power: starts normally on the AC adapter, POWER LED lights green
- Display: LCD shows normally with no display defects
- Keys: MENU, QUIT, ENTER, arrow keys, TIME/DIV and START/STOP all respond normally
- DC voltage input, CH1-CH8: all 8 channels read 9.191-9.207 V against a 9.20 V reference reading from a Fluke 87III, within 0.01 V
- Unused channels: read near 0 V during the voltage check
- High-speed recording and playback: 1 kHz sine wave recorded on CH1 at 10 us sampling to internal RAM, then replayed and displayed correctly
- Firmware: Ver. 1.41

The GRAPHTEC GL980 midi LOGGER is a portable multi-channel data logger. Its 8 analog input channels have BNC and screw terminals. It records voltage and other signals at sampling intervals as fast as 10 us.
The GL980 line can save data to internal memory, SD card or USB memory. It connects to a PC over USB or LAN, and it runs on an 8.5-24 V DC supply or on optional battery packs. It is widely used for test benches, power electronics, automotive and industrial signal monitoring.
