Our Advantages For You

These imported polyimide (PI) sheets and rods are manufactured using DuPont™ Vespel® SP-1 grade raw material and are available in brown and black. Known as the "king of engineering plastics," polyimide offers exceptional high-temperature resistance (with continuous service temperatures exceeding 300°C and short-term capability up to 400°C), superior mechanical strength, outstanding wear resistance and self-lubricating properties, and an extremely low coefficient of linear expansion. Suitable for high-end sectors such as aerospace, semiconductors, precision machinery, and electronics, it is an ideal material for replacing metal to solve challenges involving high temperatures, wear, and insulation requirements. Installation and Machining Instructions
PI material is suitable for machining processes such as turning, milling, and drilling.
Carbide tools are recommended; high-speed steel tools tend to wear out quickly.
Ensure adequate heat dissipation during machining to prevent material degradation caused by localized overheating.
Avoid forceful impact during installation, as PI material has limited toughness.
When used as a wear-resistant component, proper lubrication is recommended.
Precautions
⚠️ PI material may undergo thermal decomposition at high temperatures (>400°C), releasing trace amounts of gas; ensure proper ventilation.
⚠️ Avoid contact with strong alkalis and concentrated acids, as these may compromise material performance.
⚠️ Wear protective equipment during machining to avoid inhaling dust.
⚠️ Different colors (brown/black) may indicate different grades or filler materials; please verify your requirements before purchasing.
⚠️ Please make precise selections for diameter and length from the drop-down menu.
