MODEL
Canon FD 35-70mm f3.5-4.5 manual focus lens with Macro.

SR No
No 1918578

MOUNT
Canon FD

CONDITION
EXCELLENT

Additional comments:
With the exception that there is a speck of fungus present on the perimeter of the rear glass, is not impacting on image quality and is certainly not worth opening up and disturbing the lens for.

The lens has the correct Canon 62mm snap fit front cap, but when a 55mm filter is attached this cap will no longer fit, so I have included a 55mm front cap as well.
The lens will only accept this type of Canon rear cap also, as it is the correct one for this model.

 DESCRIPTION
The lens has been tested on camera to confirm full communication with the camera when it is set to 'A'.
The rest of the optics are bright and clear, with no signs of fungus, haze, dust or cleaning marks.
The 5 bladed aperture diaphragm has a few specks of oil but it is not affecting it's action.
The focus action is smooth & precise.
 Printed lettering is all intact.
Macro tested and working.

Images were taken on a digital Canon with a FD adapter, and are unedited straight from camera.

Includes
Lens body + correct Canon B-62 front cap + 55mm front cap + 55mm Skylight filter + Canon rear cap.

AS A SELLER
I am very particular with my own equipment, so when it comes to selling to buyers. I take the time to deep clean, sanitise and check 'EVERY' function prior to listing, I like to think they are some of the best available, and something I would be confident to give as a present, and also receive and use myself.

RETURNS
If on checking the item over, you are not 100% happy with it, I will happily refund the purchase cost & your postage, once the item has been safely returned.

UK POSTAGE
As much as I would love to use 'cheap couriers', it's proven to be unreliable in the past, plus these companies do not insure lenses & cameras against loss/damage in transit.

I only send with Royal Mail's 48hr Tracked Service.

Boxes are 'Collected' by Royal Mail, usually on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday, and will be added to the next collection booked, because of this, please factor in some extra time for delivery before purchasing, as it's never going to be the next day.

AND BEST NOT TO USE OTHER POSTAGE OPTIONS SHOWN BY EBAY, SUCH AS EXPRESS ETC, AS IT'S UNLIKELY IT WILL ARRIVE ANY QUICKER.

GLOBAL SHIPPING
Postage is through 'ebay's global postage' at ebay's set prices.
Once purchased, I post the item to ebay's central UK shipping centre, where the parcel is re addressed and forwarded to the buyer, any Import tax will be shown on the buyers ebay page and will need to be paid by the buyer.

EQUIPMENT CHECKS
Lenses are given a full health check, bodily cleaned and sanitized and then CLA'd if needed, this will involve lubricating mechanisms and the cleaning of optics.

Work carried out, and any issues found, will be described in the 'CONDITION' section above.

Some examples of areas checked are: the Body condition/Lens optics/Focusing mechanism/Aperture settings/Diaphragm blades/Pre-set mechanism/DOF mechanism/Lettering & Numbering condition/Manual focus movement/If lens has 'A' or 'AE' settings, then it will be tested on camera to confirm the lens is communicating with the camera correctly etc.

If possible I will include images taken with the lens on a digital camera, this is just to provide an idea of performance and clarity of the optics, the images are straight from the camera and are unedited.

It's worth noting that while most modern lenses rarely contain dust, it is more likely with vintage lenses because of their age and environment.
There is plenty of evidence available explaining how dust and fungus, has little, if any impact on picture quality, and in my personal experience of having used 1000's of different lenses, I can confirm this. Dust is not an issue and rarely is fungus, even in really large quantities.

CONDITION MEANINGS:

Mint
Would have to be 'as new' for me to ever use this description.

Excellent
Shows no signs of wear to the body, all functions have been tested and are working correctly.

Very Good
Body shows only slight signs of use, such as mild rub marks on chassis paint or faint cleaning marks, all tested and working.

Good
All functions tested and working but the body has some age related scuffs and wear marks, or the mechanical operation may be slightly stiff/loose, but is still totally usable.

Average/Fair
Bodily it's a bit worn, scuffed and knocked about, while it may not look its best, it is still useable.

Display
Cosmetically good but not working for the reasons stated.

Spares/Repair
Not working for the reasons stated. Ideal if you can repair or wish to use for parts.

Untested
Means condition is as the pictures show as I have not examined it. Best bought assuming it's NOT working, as then we'll both be pleasantly surprised if it does.

Additional Comments:
If there is something of note, I will add this in the condition description above.
