Fantastic vintage NC State Wolfpack rug featuring the classic old-school Wolf Head mascot wearing the red NCSU cap. Bold red field with large cream/ivory mascot center and black detailing. Dense hooked/tufted-style pile with cloth/canvas backing and bound edges. No maker or licensing label found. Construction appears consistent with handmade or kit-made work, but exact maker/method is unknown. Estimated circa late 1960s-early 1980s based on mascot design, construction and archival context; exact date unknown.
