PROFESSIONAL CONSTRUCTION DETAILS

AUTHENTICITY

Offered as an authentic vintage 1978–79 Cincinnati Stingers WHA game puck. The photographs show the team and league graphics, Inglasco branding and Canadian manufacturing marking.

No specific game, player or scoring-play attribution is provided.

COLLECTOR’S NOTE

The 1978–79 season was Cincinnati’s final season in the WHA. The Stingers played their home games at Riverfront Coliseum, and their roster included a young Mark Messier.

Messier scored his first professional goal—and his only WHA goal—against the Birmingham Bulls on March 20, 1979. This puck offers a display connection to the Stingers’ final WHA season and the early career of a future Hockey Hall of Famer.
