Offered is an authentic vintage 1978–79 Indianapolis Racers WHA game puck, described as a Biltrite / Inglasco puck. The clear display case shown in the photographs is included.
The team face features the blue-and-red Indianapolis Racers skate and sweeping track design on a cream-colored background. The reverse features the WHA hockey-player emblem, WORLD HOCKEY ASSOCIATION lettering, MADE IN CANADA and Inglasco branding.
The puck remains in excellent overall condition, with visible surface scuffs, scratches and print wear on both faces. The Racers graphic shows areas of ink loss through the lettering and skate design. The reverse WHA graphic and surrounding cream-colored background show scattered wear and missing print.
Both designs remain clearly recognizable. The included clear case shows scratches and handling wear. Please review all photographs for the complete condition of the puck and case.

The Racers’ 1978–79 season marked the beginning of Wayne Gretzky’s professional career. He recorded three goals and three assists in eight games with Indianapolis before joining the Edmonton Oilers. The Racers folded after 25 games of their final season.
