A particularly desirable piece of vintage Lenox holiday china, this Lenox Eternal Christmas 10.25" Oval Vegetable Bowl is from the Dimension Collection, a discontinued pattern produced for only a relatively short period from 1997–2000.

Unlike the much more commonly encountered Lenox Holiday pieces, Eternal Christmas Dimension Collection serving pieces can be surprisingly difficult to find, especially the larger bowls and serving dishes. Replacement examples of this particular 10.25" oval vegetable bowl command unusually high prices, making it an excellent find for collectors completing an Eternal Christmas service.

The bowl is crafted in Lenox's classic warm ivory color and beautifully decorated with an elegant gold holly-and-vine garland accented with tiny red berries, finished with a gleaming gold rim. The graceful low oval shape makes it equally attractive for display or for serving vegetables, potatoes, stuffing, rolls, cranberry sauce and other holiday side dishes.

The restrained ivory, gold and red design gives the piece a sophisticated Christmas appearance without being overly ornate, allowing it to coordinate beautifully with formal gold-trimmed dinnerware as well as other pieces from the Eternal Christmas collection.
