Lovely vintage hand-colored scenic photograph showing a winding dirt road through tall woodland trees, with softly colored autumn foliage.

The backing retains its Bicknell Mfg. Co. label, identifying the company at 16 Pitt Street, Portland, Maine. The scene’s original title and exact location are unknown.

Presented behind glass in a vintage black frame with narrow gold-colored trim.

Approximate measurements:
• Overall frame: 9 x 13 inches
• Visible image: 7½ x 11½ inches

Good vintage presentation, with softly muted colors. The frame has age-related scuffs and finish wear. The brown paper backing has tears and wear; the Bicknell label remains intact. Please examine the photographs for condition details.

New hanging wire has been added to the back, and the piece is ready to hang.
