Vintage 1932 94 year old advertising calendar from Sterling Ice & Produce of Indianola, Iowa. This piece features a charming lithograph of a mother and son at a desk, surrounded by an ornate Art Deco style border with floral and bamboo motifs. The calendar includes a "Handy Telephone Numbers" section tucked behind the main image and a complete 1932 monthly tear-away pad. A unique piece of local Iowa history, this ephemera advertised services for poultry, eggs, cream, flour, and feed with a classic three-digit phone number (666-W). The back shows an embossed light green finish with minor age-related wear. Perfect for collectors of agricultural advertising or 1930s Americana.
