Vintage 1950s Georgian-style bracket clock in a mahogany case, with stepped architectural top and brass carrying handle.

Late silvered dial has Roman numerals, engraved  decoration and a Tempus Fugit cartouche above the chapter ring.

The rear door retains its original brass presentation plaque, dated 1956.

Traditional Georgian/18th-century-inspired design. Some surface marks and general wear to the case commensurate with age, as photographed.

Dimensions taken from the feet has a diameter of the case at just under 17 centimeters or six inches and 5/8 by 5 inches deep or 13 centimeters with the total height not including the brass carrying handle on the top at approximately 10.75 inches or just under 28 centimeters tall.

The stepped top of the clock has a maximum diameter of six inches and an eighth or 15.7 centimeters wide. The body not including the base or the top has a total diameter across the door of just under 5.75 inches or 14 and a half centimeters.

I think maybe this might have had a mechanical movement in it at some point but this has been replaced with a quartz movement and that is non-functional. I would recommend the replacement of that movement.

What you're buying here is basically the case and the dial.
