Up for sale is a rare and highly collectible antique miniature porcelain bud vase from the historic pottery center of Desvres, France.
This exquisite piece features a hand-painted floral wreath design with intricate pink and blue petals, green leaves, and gold ribbon swags, accented by a deep reddish-brown glazed neck.
Markings / Origin: Incised clearly on the base with the authentic maker's mark "GF" (Gabriel Fourmaintraux) and production style number "711". These miniatures were famously created as masterclass training pieces by factory apprentices to hone their hand-painting techniques.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with no cracks or structural damage. There are a few tiny, natural glaze flakes along the top rim edge typical for early 20th-century French earthenware/porcelain. The hand-painted decorations remain beautifully clear and vibrant.
An exceptional addition for a collector of French country pottery, fine miniatures, or dollhouse antiques! Will be securely double-wrapped in bubble wrap for safe shipping.
