An antique horseshoe shaped cribbage board which would date to the late 19th or early 20th century. The main body is made of oak with the fittings being made of brass.
Condition. There is a little chipping around the edge where the drawer is inserted and to the top of the drawer which can be seen in photos 7, 8 & 9. This is the only condition issue of note. The rest of the oak is in very nice condition and has been wax polished. The brass is all in good order with just light surface marks although it has been polished recently. I would say the brass was originally silver plated as you can still see a trace of this mostly around the sides. There is still a little original colour of red and black to the clubs, diamonds and spades of the cards. So all in all I would say this cribbage board is in good used condition.
