Hand Wash Instructions: While wearing gloves, wash your shirt by hand in the sink in warm or hot water with a small amount of laundry detergent. Hang it up to air dry. Ironing on medium heat will help reform lost shape caused by tying & dyeing. Fabric softener may be used after washing but it may make the vibrant colors dull.
Washing Machine Instructions: Place your shirt directly into the washing machine by itself for its very first cycle. Use a normal wash cycle with warm or hot water and a small amount of laundry detergent. When the wash cycle is complete, immediately place it in the dryer on high heat for about 15 minutes, then hang it up to dry.
Future Washing Instructions: For the next 2 to 3 washes, if you are washing your shirt in the washing machine, wash it separately from your regular laundry - just in case any microscopic dye particles remain on the fabric after washing. After that, your shirt is safe to wash with your everyday colors!
Special Notes: This brand-new, unworn, handmade tie-dye shirt was crafted personally by me. It has been laundered multiple times to ensure the garment is clean, colorfast, and ready to wear immediately. While this garment has been laundered to remove loose particles of dye, some color may still bleed for a few washings. I personally recommend washing inside out in the sink with warm or hot water and hanging up to dry. High heat & excessive laundering may cause the vibrant colors to fade faster & the garment to shrink.
