An exceptional pre-reunification Buffet Crampon E11 Bb intermediate clarinet crafted in Markneukirchen, West Germany by the legendary Schreiber-Keilwerth workshop prior to 1989. Early West German E11 models are prized by professional technicians and woodwind specialists for superior acoustic response, dense close-grained African Blackwood (Dalbergia melanoxylon) timber selection, and traditional hand-lathed bore finishing superior to modern automated production iterations. Serial number 133543 features explicit stampings "Made in W. Germany" alongside the traditional stamped logo. The instrument exhibits optimal grain integrity, precise tone-hole undercut geometry, and robust silver/nickel keywork mechanics. Acoustically tested for superior intonation stability, offering a distinctly warmer, resonance-rich tonal profile sought after by advancing players and professionals requiring a premium secondary wood instrument. Supplied complete with original Buffet mouthpiece assembly, ligature, cap, and fitted plush-lined hard shell case.
