To US Buyers - Customs and Import Charges

US orders of US $2,500 or less are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). Import duties, taxes and handling fees are included in the total you pay at checkout, and nothing further will be charged to you on delivery.
US orders above US $2,500 are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Import duty is NOT prepaid and is NOT included in what you pay at checkout.
Shipments above US $2,500 require a formal customs entry. Import duty, the Merchandise Processing Fee and any customs broker fee are billed to you directly by the carrier or the customs broker before the parcel is released. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
US tariff rates on goods from Japan have changed more than once in the recent past and may change again, so we do not quote a rate here. Please check the current rate with US Customs and Border Protection or with the carrier before you buy, so that the amount does not come as a surprise.
