Cosmetically there are many scuffs on the top cover with some yellow residue, blackening and rubbing on the handle end caps, and black soiling on the rear rack ears. Slots 5 to 8 are empty and no blank panels are fitted, so the internal board and connectors are exposed - please take care against foreign objects and internal heat build-up.
Operation Check

- System menu: Information, Network Set and GP-IB Address screens can be displayed
- Module recognition: the three installed modules are shown on the SUMMARY screen (slots 5 to 8 show NO MODULE, slot 9 shows Route A-1)
- Ethernet remote interface: fixed IP (DHCP off), ping reply 4/4 with 0% loss, LINK/ACT LED lit
- USB (B) remote interface: detected on a PC Device Manager as AQ2200 (driver not installed, so a yellow warning mark is shown - this is the expected state)
- Firmware: BOOT 3.00-00 / FIRM 3.03-00 / HARD 3.00-00 / FPGA1 1.01-00 / FPGA2 1.03-00, OPTION = NONE

The YOKOGAWA AQ2212 is a 9-slot frame controller for the AQ2200 Multi Application Test System, a modular optical test platform used for optical device, module and transceiver production testing. The frame houses AQ2200 series plug-in modules and provides a color LCD with key operation plus USB, Ethernet (100BASE) and GP-IB (IEEE488) remote interfaces, TRIGGER IN/OUT and CLOCK BNC connectors on the rear panel.
This set includes two AQ2200-642 Transceiver I/F Modules and one AQ2200-411 1x4 optical switch module installed in the frame. Approximate dimensions 46 x 55 x 16 cm, approximately 12 kg.
