Regular-size Zippo identified as a 1942-1943 wartime Black Crackle model. The photographed lighter is heavily deteriorated: most exterior finish is lost, with extensive brown rust, gray exposed areas, pitting, scratches and dark remnants around the edges and hinge. The broad faces no longer display an intact black crackle surface. A removable flint-and-wick insert is present with heavy discoloration and uneven fibrous packing exposed around its bottom screw. The worn base still shows Zippo and Bradford markings. This is a heavily worn wartime-type collector or restoration example, not a pristine black-finish lighter or a claim of military-service provenance. No box is shown. Operation and fuel content are unverified.
