Welcome to this awesome example of a Compaq Presario 5000 Series (5365)

Looks mostly unmolested, with original plastic covers that you just don’t see anymore, this has been really well loved in another life!

Specs:
Intel Pentium 4 1.5Ghz
64MB Ram
40GB Hard Drive
12X DVD Rom Drive
CDRW
Windows XP.

This is a speedy little machine, you will however need to wipe it or use a password reset tool!

Please do not buy this if you are going to turn it into a bastardised sleeper or part it out, original complete body machines do not come about that often, the most this would benefit from is a little bit of Retro Bright but nothing severer.

It would be great if someone had use of a label printer to recreate the side label, this is the only thing that’s a bit sad for itself, apart from that, this would make an amazing late 90’s early 00’s gamer, there is no AGP slot but a PCI Voodoo or something alike would take this machine to another level.

I understand that this board can work with a with a faster chip, but you would need to up your cooling.

As with all vintage tech, it is sold as seen but this thing looked after will last another life time!

Priced in my opinion high as I don’t need or particularly want to part with it but it is a bit new for my liking plus if it sells then it goes towards ‘Get me new laminate flooring’ fund!
