Used but in good condition a British Army Officers No. 1 dress peaked cap of regimental pattern to the 16th/5th Queen's Own Lancers.
The cap is contained in it's original delivery box from Herbert Johnson and dates from the 1960's.
This is a junior Officer's hat up to the rank of Captain and is in the regimental pattern with scarlet crown and blue piping.
The cap bears an Officer's pattern silver gilt cap badge, Kings Crown haunted chinstrap buttons and patent leather chinstrap.
No size labels but it fits around a 7 1/8.
The leather sweatband is intact and in good clean condition and the oiled silk head liner is complete and has not gone sticky as can sometimes be the case.
The cap is in fair condition with some very minor moth grazing to the red crown material as pictured but no holes.
