Antique Ogontz Tool Co 16” jointer plane, a traditional wooden woodworking plane designed for jointing and straightening the edges and surfaces of boards. Jointer planes were an important part of the traditional carpenter’s and joiner’s tool chest and were used for preparing lumber for accurate fitting and assembly.

The Ogontz Tool Co marking makes this an interesting example for collectors of antique American woodworking tools and traditional wooden planes.

Overall in decent shape with expected wear. The body has some bigger cracks to eats the rear. The mouth and sole are in decent shape. The wedge is good with wear and the chip breaker and iron are decent with some rust and patina.
