SAGE Graphite III 486-3 LL Fly Rod

A desirable three-piece version of the popular SAGE 486 LL, combining the classic LL action with a convenient 3-piece configuration.

• Model: GFL 486-3 LL
• Graphite III
• Length: 8'6"
• Line: #4
• 3-piece
• Weight: 3 1/16 oz
• Original SAGE aluminum tube and rod sock included

The aluminum tube is clean and in very good condition.

The original SAGE rod sock is also clean, although the identification tag is missing.

The cork grip shows only light signs of use. The wood reel seat has a few very small surface scuffs. The metal butt cap shows some scuffs and normal signs of use.

The blank has only a few very light superficial scuffs, as shown in the photos. These are minor and not particularly noticeable. No deep scratches or structural damage are present.

Overall, this is a very clean example with relatively little use, retaining an attractive glossy finish throughout the blank.

The 486 LL is one of the desirable light-line configurations from SAGE's classic LL family, and the 3-piece 486-3 LL is a particularly interesting version for both fishing and collecting.
