- The camera is in good used condition, with light signs of use. The glossy body has fine dust and some light hairline marks, mostly on the front lens cover and top plate. There is a small area of rubbed, lighter sheen on the plastic at the rear top right (see photo 4). There are also a couple of tiny specks on the rear panel beside the LCD. The lens cover moves freely and the back door closes securely. The inside of the film chamber and the door are clean and tidy. The strap is included and in good condition.
- Tested and working. The shutter fires and the viewfinder is clear, with the autofocus indicator light responding. The lens extends and zooms smoothly through its range with the rocker switch. The pop-up flash opens and fires, and the self-timer works. Film advance and rewind work, and the LCD frame counter displays clearly. Please note I have no film to test with, so this was a mechanical and functional test only. Exposure accuracy and autofocus results on film are not confirmed.
- Lens condition: The 35-70mm f/4.2-7.8 zoom lens looks clean in the photos, with no visible scratches, or haze.
But the lens has a fair amount of fungus on the front lens element, this should not affect the image quality in a noticeable way apart from possibly very minor contrast loss.
