Up for bid is a vintage 1920s Gillette Tuckaway Open Comb Nickel Silver Safety Razor Set from the United States. This is a collectible item sought after by many shaving enthusiasts and collectors. With its classic design and high-quality construction by the reputable brand Gillette, this razor set exudes a sense of nostalgia and craftsmanship. The open comb feature of the razor adds a unique touch to the grooming experience, making it a sought-after piece for those looking for a piece of history in their shaving routine.

It is in good condition for its age except for a hairline crack on the handle. (See pics) The razor is stamped with the serial number “225644” on the inner top piece where the blade goes in. It also comes with its own plated case that has some wear on the outside plating and could use some cleaning. The inside velvet lining is in great shape. This set also includes a plated blade case with 3 king Gillette blades in their original wrapping. Also included is the original form 665 which tells how to prepare the blades for use.
