Antique North Bros. Mfg. Co. Yankee No. 30A spiral screwdriver, a classic example of the innovative push-action hand tools produced under the Yankee name. The spiral mechanism converts the user’s pushing motion into rotary action, allowing screws to be driven or removed efficiently.

North Bros. Mfg. Co. of Philadelphia became particularly well known for its Yankee line of spiral-action screwdrivers and drills, which were widely used by carpenters, woodworkers, mechanics, and other tradesmen.

Overall in decent shape with expected wear and finish loss. Works well in both directions and locked. The bit included is in good shape.
