Item up for bid is a fantastic antique postcard depicting a house and is marked across the bottom of the front with " The Point ( built 1712 ) Cambridge, Md. ". with a marking on the lower right edge showing it was published by Chas. S. Henry & Co. Card exhibits soiling, patina, and areas of discoloration around the edges with wear around edges and corners all consistent with age and use. Card has some old pencil price markings on the reverse side. Item was found in a recent estate buyout of a longtime collector of postcards from around the Delmarva Peninsula region where they were acquired from numerous sources and shops over decades.

Card is in posted condition with a written message from Trappe, MD to a recipient in New York City. Item has a green one cent postage stamp depicting Benjamin Franklin with postal markings that give a date of 1910. Item is the standard postcard size. Incredible piece that comes fresh to the market from a recent estate buyout. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
