The hilt and the blade are 3D printed and hand painted. The photos don't do it justice because the light up effect is far superior to that of Hot Toys' original lightsaber. It lights up evenly and still bright even when the room in well-lit. The blade's shape and the length(the original blade is way too short) are also corrected.

The wires extend from the middle of the hilt just like Hot Toys' offical lightsaber. The connector is fully compatible with Hot Toys' Type C USB hilt box however don't worry if you don't have a USB hilt box because this set also includes a battery box with a switch and a connector, 2 double A batteries(again please use 1.2V batteries ONLY, DO NOT USE 1.5V batteries) can light up the lightsaber for days and you can also use the battery box for your original Hot Toys' lightsaber. Unlike some custom made lightsabers this lightsaber's tip has no ugly solder joint as the whole circuitry is hidden inside.
