The photos show everything. I am not sure of the age, it is definitely old, vintage, most likely antique, I just do not know how old it actually is, so I cannot guarantee the age. I am assuming it to be from the 1940s, but I could be wrong on that. It appears to me to be from that era. It is a very heavy utensil, made for scooping ice cream. I am assuming you could scoop other things, such as lard or any other solid food. You can see the condition, it is in great shape, but there is some staining/patina that you can see in the photos. I am assuming that the beautiful black handle is made of Bakelite, but I cannot guarantee that. I can assure you, it is not wood, it is some synthetic material. I don't have a whole lot more to add, it weighs 10 oz and is approximately 10 inches long. If you collect vintage utensils, this is for you. Also, it is very usable, if you take into consideration the patina. You are buying it AS IS, NO RETURNS. The photos are the description and they show the condition and the size.
