Listing Description
Antique Stanley No. 3 Type 19 hand plane, a classic bench plane designed for general woodworking and smoothing applications. The No. 3 is part of Stanley’s well-known line of Bailey-pattern bench planes and was commonly used by carpenters and woodworkers for preparing and refining wooden surfaces.
The Type 19 represents a later production variation of the Stanley No. 3 and is an interesting example for collectors of Stanley planes and traditional woodworking tools.
Overall in great shape with a nice tote and knob. Sole and mouth are clean though has some discoloration spots on the side and sole as well as the iron. No texture change in those spots, just color. Nice ton and chip breaker but the cap has a chip on the one front lip corner.
- 3lbs 1oz
- 9 5/16” long
