This is a Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) showcasing the breathtaking interior walkway of the world-famous Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge) in Lucerne, Switzerland.
The front features a crisp, high-contrast black-and-white real photograph looking down the length of the wooden covered footbridge. It clearly highlights the famous 17th-century triangular ceiling panels that depict Swiss history and mythology. Because a devastating fire destroyed a large portion of the bridge and its original art panels in 1993, this vintage photographic view serves as an invaluable historic document.
Crucially, the stamp box features the stylized "KPC" monogram flanked by "Kodak Paper" markings. This tells us the photographic paper stock was manufactured by Kodak between 1910 and 1930, perfectly anchoring this card to the early 20th century.
