Overview
These water filter cartridges are a compatible replacement for Brita Maxtra+, Maxtra Pro All-in-1, Maxtra filter jugs and kettles. They fit a wide range of popular jugs, including Marella, Marella XL, Marella Cool, Style, Style XL, Elemaris XL, Aluna, Aluna Cool and Mavea. No tools are needed to install them.
Each cartridge is made with natural coconut shell activated carbon and food-grade ion exchange resin, with a 4-layer structure that reduces chlorine, heavy metals such as lead and mercury, suspended solids, sand and other impurities. They also reduce water hardness and limescale, remove odours, improve the taste of drinking water and beverages, and retain beneficial minerals. The housing is made of food-grade BPA-free material and the cartridges are certified to NSF 372 for lead-free materials and meet NSF 42.
It is recommended to replace each cartridge every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on your water quality, and one cartridge filters about 120 litres of water. A single cartridge can replace around 300 bottles of 500ml bottled water, and a pack of 6 can cover up to 6 months of use.
