Elegant vintage English claret jug/decanter featuring a substantial clear patterned glass body with decorative silver-plated mount, hinged lid, ornate handle and pouring spout. The glass has an attractive diamond-cut style pattern with vertical detailing around the neck. Marked “ENGLAND” and “SILVER PLATED” to the underside of the lid. In very good used condition with light surface marks, tarnishing and age-related wear to the silver plate. A decorative piece for serving, display or a vintage drinks collection.
