Item up for bid is an amazing lot of 8 vintage and antique postcards by various publishers in various styles from various years all depicting a scene of the Harbor on the Choptank River in Cambridge, MD which is located in Dorchester County on the Eastern Shore of Maryland on the Delmarva Peninsula.  All cards show soiling and patina with wear around edges and corners to varying degrees. Some cards are in posted condition with written messages, postal marks and stamps with some in unposted condition showing no written messages, stamps or postal markings. Cards were found in a recent estate buyout of a long time collector of postcards from locations on the Delmarva Peninsula so some have some pencil written prices on the back where they were acqyired from various sources over the decades. Included in the lot you will find: 

- Unposted card showing image of " The Harbor from Steamship Pier, Cambridge, MD". Card has no written messages, postal markings of postage stamps. Item is marked with a publishers mark of Hoge & Holder Cambridge, MD. Light pencil written price marking on the reverse side. 

- Unposted black and white illustrated card marked on the front with " Harbor at Cambridge on the Choptank, Maryland". Mark on the back with " Drawn and published by J.B. Moll, Jr., Oxford, MD. Card has some light marks on the back where it appears it rested for decades against a card that had writing some some surface marks transferred. Has a light pencil written price mark. Very slightly larger than the standard postcard size.

- 1947 posted card marked on the front with " Harbor, Cambridge, MD". Item has a written message on the back with a green one cent Washington stamp with postal markings with a date of 1947 and markings showing it was mailed from Cambridge, MD to a recipient in Baltimore, MD. Card shows a notable crease across the upper right corner with markings on the back showing it was published by Louis Kauffmann & Sons of Baltimore, MD.

- 1910 postcard marked on the front with " Harbor scene, Cambridge, Md." with a publishers mark on the front from Chas. S. Henry & Co. Card has a pencil written mark on the front of the card that reads " From Joe". Back side has a written message with a green one cent stamp and postal markings that give a date of 1910 and show it was sent from Cambridge, MD

- Unposted linen postcard that is marked on the front with " View of Harbor, Cambridge, Md.". Card has a light pencil written price marking on the back with no written messages, postal marks or postage stamps. Back is marked with a publisher's mark of Harry P. Cann & Bro. Co., Baltimore, Md." as well as marking showing it was produced as a Curteich C.T. Art Colortone card.

- Unposted card with an illustration by John Moll that is marked " Harbor Cambridge, Maryland" on the front. Back side has no written messages, postal marks or postage stamps. Back side shows a publication mark of " Drawn and Published by J.B. Moll, Jr./, Oxford, Md". Card is slightly larger than the standard size.

- 1909 marked on the front with " Moonlight On the Harbor, Cambridge, Md". Item has an old pencil written mark on the back side with handwritten messages, a green one cent Washington stamp and postal markings showing it was sent from Cambridge, Md in 1909. Back is marked with a publisher's mark of Wolff & Naylor, Post Office Pharmacy, Cambridge, MD with other markings showing the card was printed in Germany as a Newvochrome Card with additional markings from the American New Company of New York.

- 1920 card marked " Harbor At Night, Showing Cambridge Mfg. Company, Cambridge, MD." Card has some pencil writing in the white border around the image on the front. Reverse side shows an old pencil written price marking with pencil written messages and a postal mark showing it was sent from Cambridge, MD in 1920. Item does not have a postage stamp in place though area where it would be shows yellowing and residue of stamp gum where a stamp likely dried and fell off over the years. Item is marked with a publisher's mark of Louis Kaufmann & Sons of Baltimore, Md.
