Up for sale is a rare, vintage piece of mid-century office and advertising history: a box of Cardmaster Stencils, manufactured by the Cardmaster Co. in Chicago, Illinois.

Dating back to approximately the 1940s, these stencils were originally part of a handheld mechanical mimeograph/duplicator set used by small businesses to rapidly print custom graphics and text onto promotional postcards.

The box features striking, classic mid-century art deco style graphics in bold blue and cream colors, making it an excellent display piece for collectors of vintage advertising, unique typography, or antique office supplies.
