This trailblazing scientist is a woman of many firsts — a first-generation college student, the first Latina to travel to space, and the first Hispanic director of the Johnson Space Center. This high-flying physicist and inventor has logged over 41 days in space, with many medals and patents under her belt — and now she joins our Barbie lineup of incredible women who inspire girls around the world.
