A beautiful, high-quality vintage solid sterling silver and translucent blue enamel membership badge for the C.S.G.A. The front displays a gold-gilt Fleur-de-lis shield surrounded by the Latin motto "DISCE DOCE DILIGE" (Learn, Teach, Love).

The reverse features a fully functional horizontal pin fastening with an early safety catch and is clearly stamped with the "STERLING" silver hallmark. As shown in the photos, the badge measures just under the size of a standard UK 50p coin. It is in exceptional vintage condition with completely intact, bright enamel and no chips or cracks.
