Vintage Portmeirion "The Compleat Angler" oval serving dish featuring the "No.4 Trout Gillaroo (Salmo Stomachius) design with a fern border. (designed by Susan Williams-Ellis), oval serving platter or dish with a decorative green fern and flower rim.

The Portmeirion "The Compleat Angler" collection was originally launched in 1981.However, because this specific piece features the Fern Border variant around the rim, it belongs to a later production window. The "Compleat Angler Fern" pattern was manufactured and distributed between 1997 and 2007, at which point it was discontinued

No chips, cracks or marks. Both plates are in a very good condition. Avoid dishwasher as will remove design over time.

Measures approx., 2.5cm D x 27cm L x 19cm W
