Cosmetically the unit is in good shape with no large scratches or dents reported during inspection. Please note that recorded data from the previous owner is still stored in the internal memory (about 32% used) and has not been erased.
Operation Check
- Power: powers up when the IEC power cord is connected to mains, indicator LED lights, MEMORY FULL LED off
- Indicators: this model has no on-board screen, status is shown by two LEDs (RECORDING lit, MEMORY FULL off)
- PC connection: recognized as FLUKE VR1710 in the Power Log port list
- Settings readout: after re-seating the USB cable, settings were read successfully (Memory Used 32%, Recording Interval 1 min, Dip Threshold 95V, Swell Threshold 110V, Typical Continuous Measurement 54 days 21 h 58 min)
- Data download: recorded data was downloaded to the PC and displayed as graphs/spreadsheet

The Fluke VR1710 is a compact single-phase voltage quality recorder that plugs directly into a wall outlet and logs RMS voltage, dips, swells, transients, harmonics and flicker over long periods.
It stores trend data at a selectable interval and the results are reviewed on a PC with Fluke Power Log software over the USB interface, making it a convenient tool for tracking intermittent power quality problems in offices, laboratories and light industrial sites.
The rating label of this unit states 70-300V AC RMS, 50/60 Hz, 2.5W, CAT II 300V, double insulated.
