Piloted by Mikazuki Augus, this form was rebuilt by Teiwaz after the Barbatos Lupus sustained critical damage in battle against the Mobile Armor Hashmal. The Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex stands as the ultimate form of Mikazuki Augus's mobile suit. Following the devastating battle against the MA Hashmal near the Martian city of Chryse, the heavily damaged Barbatos Lupus was sent to the Teiwaz MS Workshop on the asteroid "Lighthouse" for a large-scale rebuild.[1,4]
Using combat data gathered through the Alaya-Vijnana system, Teiwaz engineers fine-tuned the Gundam Frame's joint responses to match Mikazuki's neural feedback, pushing the suit's reaction speed to its theoretical limit. The rebuild also incorporated salvaged components from the destroyed Hashmal, including the distinctive tail blade mounted on the backpack.[3,7]
Armed with an ultra-large mace equipped with pile bunkers,帝王-claw forearms housing 200mm cannons, heel bunkers, and the Hashmal-derived tail blade, the Lupus Rex became one of the most feared close-combat units in the series — a true "Wolf King" of the Iron-Blooded battlefield.
