A Passage of Gold captures a luminous moment when warm sunlight breaks through a soft lavender sky and travels deep into a mountain valley. A brilliant ribbon of reflected gold draws the eye through the cool violet, blue, and silvery landscape, creating a natural passage from the foreground toward the distant light.

Painted with rich, expressive impasto, the surface has substantial physical texture and visible movement. The contrast between the pale glowing sky and the rugged, heavily worked mountains gives the composition both atmosphere and depth. Rather than depicting every detail literally, the painting translates the landscape into color, light, and texture.

This is an original one-of-a-kind oil painting on panel, created entirely by hand. This is not a print or reproduction. The painting is signed on both the front and back, dated 2026, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
