EIGHTH ST BRIDGE Allentown PA  Little Lehigh Creek Trolley Postcard DB 1915

This  divided back postcard features the "NEW Eighth Street Bridge (now known as the Albertus L. Meyers Bridge) in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The front displays a striking, far diagonal side view of the impressive 17-span concrete structure, which was the longest and highest concrete bridge in the world when it opened on November 17, 1913.  A street car or trolley can be seen as well as vintage cars on the bridge.
