This is a timing cover for Triumph motorcycles (Bonneville and probably others) from the 1960s through the 1980s.  It includes the oil pressure sender (switch?) which is hand tight and needs tightening.  The cover has some surface corrosion which needs to be polished out.  It includes the oil seal for the oil passage, which I would suggest replacing.
