This piece perfectly captures the artistic charm of post-WWII Showa-era export porcelain, featuring a striking dual-mythological theme of the Phoenix and the Turtle.Key Features & Design Elements:Exterior: Features a hand-painted, vibrant burnt-orange/coral ground showcasing a magnificent soaring Phoenix. The design utilizes heavily textured Moriage (raised enamel) detailing on the wings and long flowing tail feathers, giving the piece a gorgeous tactile feel.Interior: Finished in a rich, pooling seafoam-green glaze. Fixed securely to the very center of the bowl is a hand-molded Minogame (mythological long-tailed turtle).
