Up for sale is a rare, original 1992 "For Your Consideration" (FYC) Academy Awards screener VHS tape for the legendary cinematic masterpiece,
A Few Good Men. Distributed by Columbia TriStar Home Video, these exclusive screeners were sent directly to Academy members and industry insiders during the 1992–1993 awards season and were never available for retail purchase.

- Overall Condition: GREAT / COLLECTOR QUALITY.
- Slipcover Quality: Includes the original custom cardboard slipcover. It shows minor, typical corner wear from storage over the years but remains structurally sound, rigid, and visually striking.
- Tape & Cassette Quality: The physical VHS shell and the applied color labels are in excellent cosmetic condition with all factory text perfectly intact.
- Tape Spool Inspection: Visually inspected and confirmed completely mold-free. The tape ribbon remains flat, glossy, and securely spooled.
- Playback Status: Untested. This tape has been stored safely in a climate-controlled, smoke-free home environment for over 20 years. It has not been recently played due to a lack of a VHS machine and is sold as-is.
"For Your Oscar Consideration" VHS tapes were manufactured by the networks & studios for the sole purpose of distributing them to members of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (who vote for The Oscars) to solicit votes for their movie nominee. Because they're made in such limited quantities, they are hard to find, highly collectable and sought after by fans. Another reason these FYC copies are rare is because many of them get thrown out after viewing them (if they're watched at all), as they are pretty much thought of as "Hollywood Junk Mail".
On most FYC tapes & DVDs, the video is watermarked with the phrase "For Review Purposes Only", "For Screening Purposes Only" or "Property of (fill in the blank) Studio" that may be on screen the entire time, or pop up intermittently.
