from the work of renowned Australian forestry and bushfire researcher A.G.
McArthur, these circular meters were used to calculate the Forest Fire
Danger Index using factors including wind speed, temperature, relative
humidity, rainfall and drought conditions.
This
example is complete with the rotating calculation dial and the original Fire
Behaviour Relationships information and reference table on the reverse.
In very
good vintage condition for its age with clear printing on both sides.
