Paul Reed Smith PRS John Mayer Silver Sky Midnight Rose 2023 Used Electric

SilversSky is a guitar that analyzes John's favorite 1964 Stratocaster, extracting elements of a truly exceptional vintage guitar while adding a modern perspective. It boasts a clear yet solid tone, allowing for expressive playing in a band ensemble.

The original "635JM" pickups are sound-shaped by thinning out unwanted harmonics from a high-resolution sound. This results in a well-balanced tone that avoids the harsh, piercing sound often associated with single-coil pickups.

The clean tone in the bridge position is also easy to use. Furthermore, the sound doesn't easily become muddy even when distorted, making it suitable for a wide range of genres.
