Additional InfoA rare model from around the year 2000, the 'JG-200', has arrived! The 'JG' series, born at ESP around 2000, appeared in the catalog at the same time as the 'AP' and 'VP' models, which are still in the lineup today. With its distinctive specifications—an alder offset body modeled after a Jaguar and a single humbucker—Edwards and GrassRoots versions also appeared at the same time. This instrument is the original ESP version, equipped with a Jazz Bass-type Seymour Duncan pickup and an active preamp, achieving a refined bass sound. However, the JG series disappeared in 2002, and its successor series, the 'XJ', appeared, but that too was a short-lived model. Enjoy the 'flavor' of that era, which can now be appreciated as a new individuality in today's era!
