This on-board weighing kit comprises of 4* CBL1 load cells of 15t capacity, IP67 Junction box , cable and Stainless steel indicator (reader).


So the kit comprises of:


4 x CBL1 IP67 load cells 15t capacity

1* IP67 Junction box

10m cable

1 * BWS St steel indicator


The 4 load cells can take a gross load of 60t (60,000kg) and is recommended for 30t capacity (considering uneven distribution of load, shock load etc on the vehicle)


This CBL1 Load cell is a low profile tool steel beam sealed to IP67, electroless nickel plated and ideally suited to onboard vehicle weighing. 


With the increase controls on the roads, due to high risks and fines for overloading, the OVW heavy duty load cell has become an essential part of the onboard weighing system. The robust onboard load cells are IP67  rated and housed in a tool steel, nickel plated, bending beam design with a special adhesive sealing for onboard applications.

Typically, 4 or 6 load cells are installed in a truck. This kit is with 4 load cell .
Up to 8 load cells can be connected to our weight indicator (reader), through a junction box.
The base of the load cell is bolted to the chassis and the tray is bolted to the top of load cell.

IP67 Junction box, cable and weight indicator (reader) are included in the kit.
